A bit more about me.
When I first became a homeowner, I discovered that I had the capability to make my home better for my family. If I could imagine the changes I wanted to make and acquire the tools I needed—the sky was the limit.
As my knowledge of how to fix and create grew bigger, I was able to step beyond my own projects and help friends and neighbors with theirs. Being a handyman, or more specifically a helping hand to others, became my hobby and passion.
At the time, I was helping to run a small computer company and learned a great deal about successfully running a business: compliance, cashflow, how to meet deadlines. Most importantly, though, I learned the great need for open and easy communication; how a gentle touch and a listening ear could often accomplish much that a heavy hand could not.
My goal as a Handyman is simple: to have a well-run, organized business, to be responsive and easy to get a hold of, and to do work that is excellent and affordable. My particular emphasis, of course, is the small, often overlooked jobs. But most importantly, Jack’s Handyman Services is the culmination of all the things I love to do and all the things I have learned to do well. As a natural people person, I love offering an approachable, trustworthy alternative to an industry that is all too often impersonal, impenetrable, and rushed.
